Barbel and Chub fishing at Temeside Cottage on the beautiful River Teme at Powick

Home About Me The Cottage The Fishery Guiding Gallery Links

Temeside Cottage is an old gamekeepers cottage set in two and a half acres of mature grounds, literally ten yards from the banks of the lower stretch of the River Teme. The Cottage has its own stretch of private fishing but guests have the use of the adjoining fishery which includes three miles of the Teme and three quarters of a mile of the Lower River Severn. The fishing is legendary and the Teme holds a phenomenal head of large barbel and chub in the summer before some of the fish drop back into the Severn after the autumn floods. The Lower Severn stretches at Kempsey, Pixham Ferry, Severn Stoke and Upton-on-Severn as well as Broadwas and Knightwick on the Teme and all within ten miles and we can organise day tickets if required.

Should you wish to fish the Warwick Avon, Pershore is nine miles away. Worcester City Centre is ten minutes away by car and Junction 7 of the M5 is only two and a half miles. The local pub does real ale and excellent food and can be reached right to the rear door!
