Temeside Cottage is an old gamekeepers cottage set in two and a
half acres of mature grounds, literally ten yards from the banks
of the lower stretch of the River Teme. The Cottage has its own
stretch of private fishing but guests have the use of the adjoining
fishery which includes three miles of the Teme and three quarters
of a mile of the Lower River Severn. The fishing is legendary and
the Teme holds a phenomenal head of large barbel and chub in the
summer before some of the fish drop back into the Severn after the
autumn floods. The Lower Severn stretches at Kempsey, Pixham Ferry,
Severn Stoke and Upton-on-Severn as well as Broadwas and Knightwick
on the Teme and all within ten miles and we can organise day tickets
if required.
